Founded on February 4th, 2011, by Mr. Nawaz Pasha and Mrs. Hussain Banu – both visually impaired themselves – is dedicated to empowering disabled individuals. Our core mission is to uplift and integrate them into society, ensuring they can lead independent lives. We passionately work to improve their well-being by adopting innovative methods and seeking community support, operating without discrimination based on caste or color. Since June 18th, 2016, Adarsha has provided free hostel accommodation for visually challenged girls and womens, offering comprehensive support. We cater to 15 blind girls, providing education, music, computer training, spoken English, and personal development skills. Beyond academic and life skills, we facilitate higher education by securing admissions from PUC to MBA in various colleges. Our trust also covers health check-ups, eye check-ups, and even eye operations free of cost. We also encourage cultural talents, forming blind teams to participate in and teach various events. We believe in fostering holistic growth, and our programs include opportunities for blind children to learn Hindustani and Karnataka classical music. We also educate all disabled individuals, including children, on self-protection, their rights, duties, and responsibilities. To sustain and expand these vital services, we humbly request your support. Contributions can be in the form of food, financial aid for musical instruments, program sponsorship, or volunteering. Monetary donations can be made via demand draft, cheque, or cash, for which we will provide our account details. All donations receive an 80-G certificate and tax receipts. Your generosity enables us to continue making a profound difference in the lives of those we serve.
